Public Safety Committee

The Town of Woolwich has a new citizen committee: The Public Safety Advisory Committee.  The mission of the committee is to “examine ideas, and report on methods and concepts to improve citizens’ safety and the well-being of our community.”  The committee will act as a sounding board for both the Select Board and the Fire/EMS departments to develop sensible public safety policy.

Because we are looking to bring a community and “civilian” voice into the process of addressing public safety, this 5-person committee is open only to Woolwich residents who are neither a town employee nor a member of the Fire/EMS departments.
