Volunteer Transportation Project

Essential Rides for Every Day Living

Woolwich Volunteer Transportation Project

A team of Woolwich volunteers has come together to create a volunteer transportation network, that can help those with no means of transporation get to important every-day resources, like shopping and medical visits.

This free program is all about getting neighbors to where they need to go. Local volunteers from your community are ready to drive a registered rider to different destinations such as the grocery store, medical appointments, and social activities.

Call 207-650-5104 or email woolwichtransportation@gmail.com

This program is being coordinated through Age Friendly Communities of the Lower Kennebec, with support from UMaine Center on Aging, AARP and others.

Volunteer drivers are always needed, too!  Contact the program to find out more. woolwichtransportation@gmail.com
