The recently formed Woolwich Climate Resilience Committee will be hosting its first community workshop on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 from 6-7 pm, at the Woolwich Municipal Building. This workshop will be an opportunity to discuss and share community values and goals that will inform the development of a climate action plan and other community resilience initiatives for the town.

Since forming earlier this summer, the committee has reenrolled the Town of Woolwich into the Community Resilience Partnership program which makes the town eligible to apply for community action grants that can fund a range of beneficial climate resilience projects in Woolwich.  Workshops like this will enable us to make appropriate grant proposals that are based on the concerns and ideas of our town’s residents and businesses.
