EMS Informational Meeting

Woolwich EMS has been the primary ambulance provider since July 2019 when voted on by the citizens of Woolwich at the Town Meeting. Since then, Woolwich EMS has successfully provided quality EMS coverage to the citizens and visitors of Woolwich, as well as been a mutual aid partner to neighboring communities. Woolwich EMS has overcome numerous obstacles to include a pandemic and staffing changes while providing care to its patients.
It has become necessary to change our staffing pattern to continue to provide this service to the community. With this staffing pattern change, there will be an increased budget request at the Town Meeting on May 17th. We are inviting the public to an information session on Tuesday, May 2nd at 6pm at the Woolwich Central School to learn about these changes and the continued benefits of maintaining Woolwich EMS as the primary service provider in Woolwich.
