Broadband Information Meeting April 26

Woolwich is in a unique position to take advantage of significant State of Maine grants to bring afford- able fiber-optic broadband internet to the entire town, including down roads that do not currently have adequate service.

This year’s Town Meeting will include a warrant article asking the citizens of Woolwich to authorize an initiative to make broadband internet available to every home in our town, and this informational meeting is your chance to learn about this effort.

This year may be our best shot at receiving grant money for this project, so we are reaching out to town residents to share with you the results of our year-long effort to find the best solution for making broadband available throughout our town.

We will be holding an informational meeting, open to all town residents, on Wednesday, April 26th at 6 p.m. at the Woolwich Central School. The Public Communications Committee will present what we have found, and answer your questions.

See you there!
